I took a mini workshop at the local crafts exhibition and made this super cute flower pot card. I have to remember the design - I think it is so cute! The sentiment says: Just for you.
Today, I had to take the kids to the doctor for their shots. DD got the tick shot and DS his first big one. He had to cry very hard! Rips my heart out but I know it is for the best in the long run. Thanks for stopping by and have a great week! All the best, Elisabeth
Ohh, those teeth! They are a pain when they come and a pain when they go. DS started teething and now everything finds its way in his mouth. He has discovered his thumb and it is so cute to watch him. But I guess as a mom I find everything cute...
Get creative has this wonderful sketch up.
I used my Swirlydoos March kit to create this LO. Just love it!Thanks for stopping by!All the best, Elisabeth
I just made it in time to complete the monthly sketch for ARTFUL DELIGHT. This fabulous kit club has a monthly sketch challenge, which is open for all! The price is a full month's kit. This month's sketch is this one:
And this is what I did:
This photo was taken last Saturday during our family picknick. We were 10 people (old and young) and had the best time ever. Great food, a wonderful meadow in the woods, frisbee, badminton, games and fun. In this layout I only used items from the Swirlydoos March kit. It is absolutely amazing. Thanks for stopping by!All the best, Elisabeth
My March kit arrived just in time to scrap these cute pictures my DH took of our little son. He is now 2,5 months old and cute as can be. Laughs, tries to "talk", adores his big sister and is a very easy baby.
This month sketch was great. So inspiring and different. Love it! The journal card is from a previous kit. I inked it to match it. The trinket also has a rub on from a previous kit in it. I just put it on the packaging paper and fitted it in.However, he is not always happy and has the best pout in the world. Ever since he was born, he puts is lip forward when he disagrees with the situation!!!

This layout was a real challenge! DD went to the children's museum to learn all about constructions. She got to build walls, drive a crane, cover a roof etc. None of my usual romantic style fit. I finally got this paper and (following my DD's instructions: You need to use more glitter, Mommy!!!!) I tried my best to capture the fun of this afternoon. The title is the entrance ticket.
This is definitely not my best layout, but DD likes it. A lot. And that is what scrapbooking is for me. Preserving the fun memories I create with my lovely family. Thanks for stopping by!All the best, Elisabeth
We have finally found a date where most of my family members are around and can attend the christening of our little son. So I got to work and made the prototype of the invitations. I kept it fairly simple and in the same style and color as the birth announcements. The photo was taken by my very talented 16 year old nephew (proud Aunt here!)

After waiting FOREVER (at least it felt that way) my February kit from Swirlydoos arrived. The Austrian postal system is really torturing me! So the second I got some free time, I dug into it. Friday Afternoon is the title, since DH loves to cuddle with DS and DD on the couch on Friday afternoon. It is sort of based on the monthly sketch of Beggahuna, but I changed a bit.
My big DD is growing up so fast. Since she goes to an English speaking school, I have to homeschool her a bit to make sure her German does not fall behind. Every day, after having done the English homework, she works on reading and writing in German.
And my sweet little one, he is just adorable. During the day, he has not yet found a rhythm but he is super good during the night, waking me up just twice or three times, drinks and falls right back asleep.
That's it from me for today. Thanks for stopping by!All the best, Elisabeth
