Treasure SWRILYDOOS

I have to admit that I am so much in love with my little daughter (and of course, my DH!!!). My life changed on so many levels! Every day I tell her how much I love her and how proud I am of her. When my colleague at work took this cute picture of her, I just had to make this layout using the stunning March kit from Swirlydoos.


I loved using all the beauties from the embellishment kit.

Carnival Monday Frosted Designs Sketch 11 SWIRLYDOOS

The night before Mardi Gras, I had to do DD's hair so it would be "wiggely" (aka curly) for the next day. She was so excited about dressing up the next day that she bounced around the apartment for hours. This was a moment I had to capture.


I used the March Kit from SWIRLYDOOS for this layout. This kit is a dream. So many perfect, cute embellishments, combined with the richest colors. Just wonderful.

I based this LO on sketch 11 by Frosted Designs.

Seasons of Love SWIRLYDOOS

My wonderful colleague at work is retiring after 23 years of teaching in the primary school. She has been an inspiration to me and was a wonderful teacher to my DD. So I made this LO for her. For the journaling, I have adapted the text of the song from "rent" :
Your 23 seasons of love have touched about five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred children....

Let's Fly A Kite *** Snips and Snails***

Another CT reveal! The new kit by Snips and Snails. This fun and bright kit is called "Let's fly a kite!" I just love the green and pink of this kit!




I had lots of fun making these little kites! I just printed the kite twice, stitched it on top of each other and added bling instead of the tail. I then folded up the upper kite and had a nice 3D effect.

From some left-over lace, I made this little flower, added a twisted pink ribbon in the middle and fastened it with a brad. Easy, fun and cheap.

Toothfairy sketchabilities 43

One of the many reasons why I LOVE scrapbooking is: I can do what I when, in which style I want in the colors I want! I can change my style from vintage to cute, from classic to clean...



When I won the Jubilee papers from Best Creations, they were just perfect for my little girl.

The title reads: If a fairy has to go to the dentist, is she then the toothfairy?

This title needs a bit of explaining: Here in Austria, we celebrate Fasching (mardi gras), however her dental cleaning appointment was scheduled for the same day. So we went there in full costume. The girls at my dentist's office were delighted and the dentist herself gave her a huge Faschingskrapfen (a bit like a doughnut filled with jam) !!!

Scooter Creative Scrappers 148

I love taking walks, best with many other people.


Ever since my father was a small child, he wanted to have a scooter. So he borrowed my daughter's scooter and started to ride it. We all had lots of fun!

I used the March kit from Swirlydoos and based it on the sketch from creative scrappers.

Dress Card

I am very blessed to have lots of siblings. 3 sisters and 1 brother and we actually talk to each other! One of my lovely sister celebrated her 40th birthday this week. My gift for her is to help choose and pay for the dress, which she is going to wear at my sister's wedding in the summer. So I made this Birthday card for her.

Everything else is pretty straight forward. I used white pearls and colored them with my new copic markers to match the color to the ribbon. Since I always have TONS of ribbon, I just layered them, going from the bottom up. To secure it, I stitched it to the white paper before adhering it to the blue cardstock.
