My poor sweet little baby has a cold and the teeth are bothering him so much. This makes for some very interesting nights. Since I am totally sleep deprived, I decided I need to scrap as therapy. I don't care if it turns out beautiful, or innovative or heartwarming, I just wanted to sit in my office and play. And I did have fun. It felt good cutting, inking, distressing, gluing, coloring.... just what I needed.
I sure had fun going nuts on the rooster. I am a total beginner with copic markers but it was really enjoyable.
In a previous Swirlydoos kit, there was this cute leather string. I twirled it and glued it into shape.
This is a prima wood tag
This is the result - quite different from my usual stuff and yet I really kind of like it. Because it reminds me of the fun we had in the summer and this is the most important thing for me about scrapbooking. I am not an artist, I am not in the industry, I am not on any design team, I just do it for me, my DH and my kids.
With the exception of the rooster (which you can get HERE), all is from different Swirlydoos kits.
Speaking of Swirlydoos Kits - I got a layout featured over at their blog. I never thought that this layout would catch their attention..... but there you go.
So next time you start a layout - let me know WHY you are scrapbooking! I would love to know.
Thanks for stopping by,
All the best,
Elisabeth
Das Layout gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut!!!! Bunt, frisch und super Ideen in jeder Ecke ;-) GlG Conny
