Apple Cider from Bo Bunny was the perfect paper line for this. I am so happy that it is so versatile - distressed works just as well as the rather clean and simple from my previous posts.
I went through my stash and took out all kinds of different flowers that could work with the colors. Some of them, I inked with "wild honey" and "spiced marmelade" from Tim Holtz to make them match. I fussy cut all the green leafs, inked them with "bundled sage" and bent them to give them more dimension.
The date is made using a sticker from the sticker sheet.
and it doubles as hidden journaling spot.
A little flower and leaf peeking through....
And more fussy cutting in the left upper corner.
I did not want to cover up the cute image to the left, so I fussy cut the elements with a craft knife and stuck the brown paper underneath. The pearlstring was white, which I colored with my copic markers. I liked the texture that came from that.
Yesterday after school, I allowed DD to play with her friends for an hour at the school's playground. DS wandered off all by himself on the BIG red court (which happened to be totally empty) pushing his little green ball. With the evening sun shining on him, it looked like such a peaceful scenery. I see a layout in the very near future with this photo!
Thanks for stopping by!
All the best,
Elisabeth
