It's the little moments that make life big

I have 97 days left before I return to work. I love my work but at the same time I am very apprehensive about how it will all work out - the exhausting job and then 2 kids at home who need my energy, love and attention.
So I try to enjoy every single moment I am home with them. And sometimes it just does not work! DD is grumpy, DS is teething, I am sleep deprived ... you get the picture. And on top of not having a good day, I feel guilty because I am not enjoying the limited time I have left.

The other day I came across this essay from Glennon. If you don't know her blog yet, it is worth reading it. So I decided that the whole day does not have to be great, but just a few minutes per day will be enough.

I made this layout of DD and DS clowning around in the subway to remind me of the precious moments....

Based on "My Creative Sketches"

Here are some close ups:
I added some flowers on the fountain for some more texture.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
