The Golden Days of Fall

Yes, we really had a golden day! On Saturday it was warm, sunny and the colors of the changing leaves where so beautiful. I took the kids to a different park. DD hooked up with a few girls playing catch like mad and DS had his first try in the sandbox. He loved it!!!

This time, I was not in the mood for vintage and distressed, so I took a sketch from Page Maps and created this rather simple but fall like layout. That is one thing I LOVE about scrapbooking - there are so many styles to choose from!

Again, the pull out journaling.

And here the tattered leaves from Tim Holtz.  I stamped on the yellow cardstock and used the Pebbles chalks to add definition to the edges. I bent them up a bit for added dimension and done.

DD had a great time there, too!

Thanks for stopping by!
All the best,
Elisabeth

  2. This is gorgeous, the leaves are just a beautiful touch.
What lovely children you have and so happy looking.
I remember people always used to say that to Chris and I and i used to love it. To think other people look at your children and think they are happy at home/outside is a lovely thing.
